Video-heavy and no telephone discussions, particularly in light of the pandemic. Several rounds meeting with senior leadership which was expected. That's really all that needs to be said on a GD platform

Interview Questions

  • **CANDIDATES, BEWARE!!!** The Interview process wasn't the issue; it was the UNFORGETTABLE offer experience at the end, when I was clearly the last candidate standing. A Fortune 10 - I repeat Fortune 10 - company who can easily afford to compensate top talent at market rate...couldn't even offer a competitive salary, or sign-on bonus, or 6-month review in lieu of bonus, or mgmt bonus until 2 YEARS down the road. In fact, this company couldn't - wouldn't - negotiate at all (what company worth their salt offers ANYONE a sophisticated position without expecting SOME kind of negotiation?) Their reason for being sooo hinky: "Internal Equity" issues. They blamed their inability to negotiate with candidates on their current workforce. To add insult to their own brand injury, the HR recruiter had the audacity to rebuke me for reaching out to the would-be HM to seek clarity on the very bizarre job offer email and non-negotiating. "You go through ME", they said. How odd, since the HM was the actual boss - NOT this unprofessional HR person who "thought" they were higher than the HM. I shared this shocking news with some career experts. Their response: "You were wise to RUN from that company". Shame on UHG for condoning such a horrible candidate experience. If you want to attract talent to find their "Life's Best Work", perhaps you should first pitch top candidates YOUR best offer package.

It's was a simple process overall. You send a video recording for your first interview, and then they will contact you for a phone interview if selected. After this they will tell you they will contact you in 2-3 days, but it's been over a week for me and my dashboard still isn't updated. So the process was quick but slowed down since the second interview so just be patient when waiting for a response !

Had to take an assessment then had two interview one phone and one video interview. Once completed I got a stand by offer. Please eliminate the stand by offer it is annoying. I'm not getting paid by standing by so why do you think you deserve for me to wait to here whether or not I can start. I have experience and a degree and it's degrading to be told if we don't have enough people you can start. It's greedy and wasting peoples valuable time. ESPECIALLY when your pay is not competitive at all.

Strange. Long winded. Futile. They came after me and then proceeded to tell me why I was not right for the job. Left me hanging for 3 weeks. I had to find a response. Do not recommend at all.

I applied online.   The process took 2 weeks.   I interviewed at UnitedHealth Group (Sacramento, CA)

Interview

I first filled out typical online application online . I received an assessment. Later on that day I received an email about scheduling an interview . I scheduled an. Interview for the next day . It was a hirevue interview process where you answer questions and record answers . You have 3 times to change your recordings or answer to better fit . I found that part really easy . Next a week later I received another email stating to schedule another interview via zoom . I scheduled for first available and completed interview . Recruiter was great and pleasant . Explained about job description hours a, and what's expected. My recruiter asked me various job scenario questions and back history of resume . After interview I was offered position and told that I will receive a contingent offer based of background check , and drug screening . I love the process was very straight to the point . I would say make sure you read company's mission and values and about us that is critical in the interview . Have your resume in front of you and be sure to go over every position and why you left .

Interview Questions

  • How do you save a document and put and transfer to another monitor (screen) ? Tell me about a time you had to help a customer or co worker complete a task?
